Amazon Data Services, Inc. is planning Phase II of its data center campus in Spotsylvania County, Virginia. This phase will include the construction of five data center buildings totaling approximately 1.3 million square feet, a water treatment facility, two ski lodge-style ancillary structures, a substation pad, and stormwater management facilities. The project aims to provide a minimum of 450 megawatts of data center capacity by 2029 to meet the growing demand for cloud-based computing services.
