Databank IAD5 - Culpeper

IAD5 stands as a pioneering facility within the DataBank Culpeper Campus, marking its significance as the first of three data centers within this innovative complex. Designed to cater to the most demanding workloads, IAD5 is equipped with a High-Performance Computing (HPC)-ready "Universal Data Hall Design". This design is meticulously crafted to provide optimal power and cooling solutions, ensuring the efficient handling of enterprise, hyperscale, and artificial intelligence applications.

The data center boasts an impressive 180,000 square feet of raised floor space and a substantial 40MW critical IT load capacity. This robust infrastructure is complemented by an N+1 power design and diverse power configurations, including 120/208V and 240/415V AC power options. The cooling system is equally resilient, featuring an N+1 cooling design capable of supporting both air and liquid cooling solutions for cabinet densities exceeding 30kW and 100kW, respectively.

Interconnectivity is a cornerstone of IAD5, with the presence of onsite carriers facilitating managed internet connectivity. The data center's architecture supports a range of colocation options, from cabinets to cages, all within a framework that guarantees 100% uptime service level agreements (SLAs). The operational excellence of IAD5 is further ensured by 24/7/365 access to remote hands and special request smart hands services, providing clients with uninterrupted support and peace of mind.
