Summit-IAD1 is a state-of-the-art data center facility located in Ashburn, just 7.1 miles from Washington Dulles International Airport. The single-story, 113,300 sq.ft building is LEED Silver certified and features a total power capacity of 10,000 kW, with 6,750 kW of N+2 redundant UPS capacity and 12,000 kW of generator backup power. The cooling plant is also N+2 redundant, ensuring high availability.
The facility boasts a robust physical security posture with 24/7 onsite security staff, visitor and equipment screening, CCTV surveillance with 90-day backup, dual-factor biometric and proximity access control, and crash-rated/anti-climb cages. It is compliant with multiple industry standards, including SOC2, SOC3, PCI-DSS, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 27001.
