NorthPoint Development has proposed an ambitious project called Project Hazelnut, a 15-building, 1,280-acre data center campus in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania. The campus will be developed in three phases, with the first five buildings set to begin construction in Q4 2026, the next three in Q1 2028, and the final seven in Q2 2029.
This project aims to create a transformative technology campus in Northeastern Pennsylvania, bringing significant economic benefits to the region. It is expected to generate over $13.47 million in taxes for Luzerne County over the next 20 years and create approximately 900 construction jobs, with another 900 permanent jobs upon completion.
The campus will be located in the Humboldt North Industrial Park, a few miles away from Amazon’s nuclear data center. This development is part of NorthPoint's broader strategy to expand its data center business, with 37 powered land sites across 17 states.
This is a campus listing, that covers multiple data centers.
