CMH data centers are part of the us-east-2 AWS region: US East (Ohio).
Amazon is planning to develop a new data center campus in Marysville, Ohio, located about 30 miles northwest of Columbus. The project, known as Project Cosmos, involves constructing one or more data centers within the Marysville Innovation Park. Each facility is expected to cover approximately 250,000 square feet, and the entire campus spans over 55 acres.
Amazon plans to invest $1 billion in this project, with the first building set to become operational by 2027. The development will be exempt from property tax for up to 30 years as part of a community reinvestment agreement. This expansion is part of Amazon's broader commitment to invest $10 billion in Ohio's digital infrastructure by the end of 2029.
