The Consolidated Communications Edina Data Center is a state-of-the-art facility designed to ensure the security and reliability of your data. The center operates 24x7x365, providing continuous access to your information. It features secure, lockable cabinets set on solid concrete floors for maximum stability.

Rack space is ample, with full 45U secured cabinet racks and half racks at 22U, both lockable for enhanced security. The racks are designed to accommodate equipment up to 36 inches deep, with a standard width of 19 inches and a height of 1.75 inches. Each rack comes equipped with a redundant 110-volt 20 Amp circuit, with alternative power options available upon request.

Security is paramount, with on-site guards present during business hours from Monday to Friday, and a comprehensive card access entry system that operates separately for the building and the data center itself. A biometric recognition system further secures entry into the data center, complemented by a CCTV surveillance system, alarm, and key monitoring.

The electrical power supply is robust, fed through two separate power grids with fully redundant A/B systems, ensuring uninterrupted service. A commercial-grade 1.25 MW generator stands ready in case of power outages.

Environmental controls are equally advanced, with A/C units provided by Liebert System 3 and McQuary HVAC. Both the HVAC and fire suppression systems are backed by dual UPS systems, guaranteeing operation even during power disruptions. The environment is meticulously controlled for temperature and humidity, with alarms monitoring any deviations.

Fire safety is addressed with FM200 fire suppression systems, smoke detectors, and water detectors strategically placed in all floor drains, ensuring rapid response to any incident.
