Aligned ORD-03 is a planned data center located in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, near O’Hare International Airport. The campus will span 36 acres and feature two two-story data center buildings, each offering 520,000 square feet of space. Aligned acquired the site, including several office properties, for $29 million in 2023 and plans to demolish the existing structures to make way for the new facilities.
Construction of the first data center is set to begin by the end of 2024, with completion expected in late 2028. The second building is scheduled for development between 2026 and 2029. This project reflects Aligned's commitment to expanding its infrastructure and providing scalable, energy-efficient solutions for cloud and enterprise customers.
