Related Digital is developing a 1GW, 400-acre data center campus at 8080 Lake Shore Drive in Chicago, Illinois, on the site of the former US Steel South Works. This ambitious project is part of the company's $45 billion development pipeline aimed at supporting AI and cloud hyperscale companies.

A key feature of the campus is the Illinois Quantum & Microelectronics Park, a 128-acre quantum campus that will host leading technology companies such as PsiQuantum and IBM. The park will include shared cryogenic facilities, equipment labs, and research spaces, fostering collaboration between private companies, universities, and research institutions.
