HostDime Orlando 2

HostDime is developing a massive new 100,000 square-foot data center complex in downtown Orlando that will serve as the only enterprise Tier 4 data center facility in Central Florida. Slated for completion in Q3 2024, this fully owned and operated purpose-built structure will combine HostDime's current Orlando data center with their corporate headquarters.

The seven-story facility is being engineered to meet stringent certifications like HIPAA, PCI, SOC 2, ISO 27001/9001/27017, NIST, Tier IV, FedRAMP and FISMA. It will offer over 1,000 racks of colocation capacity across three data center floors. The category 5 hurricane-rated building will have full Tier IV mechanical/electrical redundancy.

Connectivity will be a major focus, with plans for at least a dozen major network/fiber providers like AT&T, Cogent, and Lumen connecting into three full-sized redundant meet me rooms. HostDime is establishing CFL-IX, Central Florida's first peering exchange on-site. The facility will offer 100 Gbps of network capacity and dual-path protected dark fiber connectivity to Miami.

In addition to private data center suites and cages, the facility will house amenity spaces like a game room, cafeteria, gym, and even a two-story "floating" sports court for clients and staff. It's designed to host large technology conferences for up to 300 people.
