DC BLOX's Palm Coast data center, known as Project Orchid, is a planned facility development located in Palm Coast, Florida between Orlando and Jacksonville. Situated on a 34-acre site in Palm Coast's Town Center area, the data center campus was acquired by DC BLOX for $3.5 million in a land sale last year.
While detailed specifications have not been publicly shared yet, reports indicate that the Palm Coast data center will be a sizable development. The project is also expected to include a Cable Landing Station (CLS) that could potentially host up to eight submarine cable systems. This strategic location between two major Florida metro areas positions the DC BLOX Palm Coast campus to become a connectivity hub for the region.
The Project Orchid data center aims to provide colocation and cloud services to enterprises, hyperscalers, telecommunications firms and other organizations seeking data center capacity in the fast-growing Florida market. DC BLOX is likely planning redundant power, cooling, network and security infrastructure befitting a modern data center campus.
