The China Mobile San Jose Data Center represents a significant development in the technological infrastructure of the region. Located at 6320 and 6340 San Ignacio Avenue, the project encompasses a substantial data center facility. The center was developed by China Mobile International, a subsidiary of the Beijing-based telecommunications giant, China Mobile.

Spanning over 7.5 acres, the data center includes two large data structures with an office building situated centrally. The total square footage of the facility is approximately 312,200, according to city planning documents. This expansive space is designed to support the vast data management needs of China Mobile's operations.

However, the project has faced legal challenges, with several subcontractors filing lawsuits to recover unpaid construction work fees. Despite these setbacks, the data center is a state-of-the-art facility, equipped with advanced technology to ensure secure and efficient data processing and storage. The operational status of the data center has been under scrutiny, with reports indicating periods of closure, which underscores the complex nature of such large-scale infrastructure projects.
