In the DR/BC process, ClearData remotely mirrors mission-critical systems to our underground Tier III data center in Phoenix, encrypts the data and places the system in a secure, fault-tolerant environment where no single point of failure exists. We then backup the mirror to a storage area network located in our Boston facility. We then test these mirrored systems and backups on a regular basis with our clients to ensure on-demand readiness.

Dedicated Server Hosting (non-virtualized)
ClearData leases an entire server not shared with anyone, providing our clients with full control over the server(s), including choice of operating system, hardware, etc. ClearData ensures that the hardware performs, and maintains the operating system. Additionally we provide service monitoring and all infrastructure to ensure uptime, including redundant power and cooling.

Virtual Dedicated Server Hosting
ClearData provides a virtual server in a fault-tolerant, redundant server farm. If a physical machine fails, the virtual server immediately moves to a healthy machine. Like physical dedicated hosting, we ensure that the server not shared with anyone, providing our clients with full control over the virtual server(s), including choice of operating system, memory allocation, storage configuration, and processor performance. In addition, we mirror the virtual server and provide incremental backups at no extra charge. And because the server is virtual, we provide enhanced monitoring 24/7.

Collocation Services
Some clients just need an infrastructure within which to locate their own server farm. ClearData provides secure, access-controlled space in our data center for our client to locate their equipment. We provide the bandwidth, power, and cooling, along with basic monitoring services.
