The Prudhoe Bay Data Center, a project by Far North Digital, LLC, represents a significant advancement in data center technology. Certified at a tier level 3-4, it promises high availability and reliability, with a focus on energy efficiency and scalable services. The modular design ensures ease of remote installation and future expansion.

Strategically located in the Arctic, the data center benefits from environmental and infrastructural advantages. The existing 43-acre site, expandable to 100 acres, is within a secure, access-controlled oil field, offering proximity to telecommunications infrastructure. The Arctic climate contributes to cooling efficiencies, reducing the need for traditional HVAC systems.

Energy is a key focus, with the aim to utilize less than 4¢/KW power. The North Slope's stranded Natural Gas reserves are harnessed using fuel cells and CO2 capturing technologies, providing a low-cost, carbon-neutral power source. This initiative not only supports the data center's operations but also contributes to the broader goal of sustainable energy utilization.
