The Simple Helix data center in Huntsville, Alabama, is a state-of-the-art Tier III facility designed to meet the highest standards of reliability and performance. The facility offers 1.1MW of total power capacity, with 2N redundancy on generators and a closed-loop chiller system in a 2N configuration, ensuring continuous operation even during maintenance or unexpected outages.

Power infrastructure at Simple Helix includes APC Modular Symmetra MW UPS systems, each with a capacity of 600kW, and a 2N+1 generator setup with four 1,000kW gensets. The data center also boasts a cooling efficiency with a Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) of 1.4 at maximum load, supported by 390-ton chillers and smart sensor leak detection systems. This robust setup ensures optimal performance and energy efficiency, crucial for mission-critical operations.

Additionally, the facility is designed to support high-density computing needs, offering up to 15kW per rack.
