Yondr Group has commenced construction on its third data center at the London campus in Slough, UK. This facility is set to add 40MW of capacity, bringing the total campus capacity to 100MW upon completion in mid-2026. Designed to meet BREEAM 'Very Good' standards, the facility emphasizes sustainability and energy efficiency, featuring solar panels on the roof and industry-leading power utilization efficiency (PUE).
The project integrates biodiversity enhancements, including a green wall facing the canal and landscaping with native trees and shrubs. Collaborating with Slough Borough Council and the Canal & River Trust, Yondr aims to improve the canal-side area with aesthetic upgrades and active transport access for local residents. Additionally, the company has funded outdoor learning opportunities for local schoolchildren to foster environmental awareness.
