Euro Strada S.R.L. is a local infrastructure developer in Brasov and which constructed and currently owns and operates a 1 MegaWatt High Density Green Modular Data Center integrated by IBM Corporation. The job was done in less than one year and celebrated on 12th of March 2014 the official launch for international presence in the Data Center Market.

IBM Corporation won in 2013 the contract of delivering and assembling for Euro Strada an underground secured high density facility, including the modular free-cooling chilling solution, a scalable UPS frame with two generators attached. Due to European Regulations the underground floor housing the DC is configured also with security features serving as an atomic shelter with ex. 1 tonne heavy security doors.

Willing to be the most innovative and efficient IaaS Provider in the country, Euro Strada ordered IBM to implement a high density power architecture with InRow cooling solution for up to 25 kW per Rack. Access control features in the underground facility are biometric solutions, the anti seismic infrastructure is isolated by ISO-Base Technology.

For International Disaster Recovery and Backup Service, Euro Strada connected Tier 1 Providers in it's dual Nexus Network Cores, so that multinational customers can benefit from Tier 1-connection services. The Euro Data Center building is preparing to rent the rest of the top floors to multinational businesses which desire high tech infrastructure connected directly to the Data Center.
