The Emtel Data Centre is a World Class Rated 3 Facility which strictly adheres to stringent ANSI/TIA-942-B:2017 Standards which is the norms for design, construction and operations of a Carrier Grade Data Centre.

Based in the North of Mauritius at Arsenal, the Emtel Data Centre is a facility of 2050 M2 divided into several equipment/server rooms. The geographic positioning of the Data Centre is in itself a strategic factor as it is a flood free area situated far from the cities and major business hubs, yet it is accessible by over 4 distinct routes.

For Emtel Ltd., the main original objective was to have a Data Centre conceived to offer maximum resiliency and state of Art IT and Telecommunications Services to meet the demanding Business Continuity Requirements of the Company itself. Subsequently, we have decided to allow our customers to benefit from a high-end infrastructure without having to make an upfront investment in such a facility and build it accordingly to offer hosting services.
The Emtel Data Centre is also connected locally on the Emtel National underground Gigabit-fiber backbone and internationally on SAFE Undersea Cable.
