NEXTDC's KL1 Data Center, located in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia, is poised to be the most technologically advanced, fault-tolerant, operationally reliable, secure, and environmentally sustainable data center in the region. This facility is designed to scale rapidly and will grow to approximately 65 MW of IT critical power, coupled with direct cloud interconnectivity. KL1 represents NEXTDC's entry into Asia, marking a significant milestone in the company's expansion strategy.

The KL1 Data Center is strategically situated near central Kuala Lumpur and major business hubs in the Klang Valley, one of Malaysia's key economic centers. This location allows NEXTDC to service the demands of major Malaysian businesses, cloud hyperscalers, and a growing array of tech start-ups seeking Tier IV capability, with the highest level of security. The facility is expected to begin operations in phases, welcoming customers into the facility from 2025.
