MDA Otemachi DC I

The Otemachi I Data Center, located in the heart of Tokyo, is a state-of-the-art facility designed to provide secure and reliable data services. With a server room capable of accommodating approximately 500 racks and a floor loading of 1,000 kg/sqm, it is built to support substantial equipment weight. The data center boasts a robust power system, featuring a 66KV loop power receiving system and N+1 redundancy for uninterrupted power supply, complemented by a 4500kVA generator with a 72-hour fuel reserve.

In terms of environmental control, the center maintains an optimal climate with an air cooling system set to 24 degrees Celsius ± 3 degrees and humidity levels at 50% ± 20%. The advanced fire suppression system utilizes nitrogen gas, ensuring client equipment is protected from fire damage. Security is paramount, with access controls including web application, IC-card, and biometric certification, alongside high-sensitivity smoke detection and surveillance systems.

Connectivity is a key advantage of the Otemachi Data Center. It offers direct connections to optical fibers in the Otemachi, Marunouchi, and Yurakucho areas, providing carrier-free services and access points to Internet Exchanges within the data center. This ensures high-speed and reliable network services for clients. The facility is also designed to withstand major earthquakes, reflecting its commitment to resilience and continuous operation.
