The ZX Internet Exchange (ZX IX) is a non-commercial, neutral BGP experimental communication and learning platform. Unlike existing overseas virtual IXs, ZX IX offers lower interconnection latency for domestic partners. This exchange supports IPv6 only, and while you can offer to interconnect with IPv4, there is no IPv4 traffic here. The project is experimental, similar to EVIX, and primarily aimed at domestic BGP enthusiasts. However, anyone is welcome to join, though no SLA guarantee can be provided.

Access methods include GRE, VXLAN, and OpenVPN, with Layer 2 tunnel access available in Hangzhou IX and Hong Kong IX. Cross-border tunnel access is not accepted. Participants can find IP Transit within the IX, and the Route Server limits each participant to 100 routes, which can be increased based on the participant's network size. The exchange also allows direct peer-to-peer connections through the exchange.
