VNIX - Vietnam National Internet eXchange

The Vietnam National Internet eXchange (VNIX) is a crucial component of Vietnam's internet infrastructure, operated and managed by the Vietnam Internet Network Information Center (VNNIC), an affiliation of the Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC). VNIX serves as a neutral and non-profit system that enhances the quality, security, and development of the internet in Vietnam.

VNIX provides a digital connectivity ecosystem that includes an international-standard Internet Exchange (Peering VNIX) and the VNIX Marketplace. It allows independent networks to connect and exchange peer-to-peer internet traffic efficiently. VNIX supports various peering agreements, optimizing connection costs and improving network quality.

VNIX members benefit from a range of services, including DDoS mitigation, cloud access, and participation in a community of technology experts through events like VNIX-NOG and VNNIC Academy. With over 30 members, VNIX has been operational for more than 18 years, connecting five locations and handling over 400 Gbps of bandwidth.
