STIX - South Tyrol Internet Exchange

The South Tyrol Internet Exchange (STIX) is the first Internet Exchange Point (IXP) in South Tyrol, located in Bolzano. This facility serves as a crucial node for data traffic on the Internet, enabling local Internet Service Providers (ISPs) to exchange data more efficiently and reliably. By connecting to STIX, providers can benefit from improved data transfer speeds and reduced latency, as data can take a shorter and more direct path between local providers and institutions.
