SIXP - Serrekunda Internet Exchange Point

The Serrekunda Internet Exchange Point (SIXP) in The Gambia is a voluntary, non-profit organization dedicated to providing IP peering facilities for its members. Established on July 25, 2013, SIXP aims to enhance the internet infrastructure in The Gambia by hosting internet-related services and fostering partnerships with regional and international bodies. Membership is open to all entities in The Gambia interested in ICT development. The exchange point is located at the Gamtel Serekunda Exchange and is operated by a small, dedicated team on a voluntary basis.
