SMART-IX - Saint-Martin Internet Exchange

SMART-IX is the public initiative Internet Exchange Point (IXP) of the local authority of Saint-Martin. It aims to facilitate the exchange of internet traffic between local operators, thereby improving network quality for end users. By providing opportunities for the deployment of new digital services and content activities by local companies, SMART-IX plays a crucial role in enhancing the digital infrastructure of Saint-Martin. It is part of the CARIBIX project, which aims to make digital exchanges between Caribbean islands more efficient. The administration of SMART-IX is ensured by the Collectivité de Saint-Martin and its representatives.
