It offers local providers a comprehensive interconnection solution, similar to those available in Chile and Mexico, tailored for the Argentine market. The exchange supports interconnection speeds of 1, 10, 40, and 100 Gbps.

To connect to PIT Argentina, providers must have a public autonomous system (ASN), at least one valid block of IPv4 or IPv6 addresses, and use BGP4 as the external routing protocol. Prefixes smaller than /24 in IPv4 and /48 in IPv6 will be filtered and discarded. Additionally, members must maintain an average port occupancy rate below 80% and have a physical connection, as BGP Multihop sessions are not accepted.
