PIONIER-IX - PIONIER-IX

PIONIER-IX is a scientific and research traffic exchange point developed by the Poznan Supercomputing and Networking Center (PSNC). It facilitates efficient, decentralized exchange of traffic between participants, leveraging a distributed national infrastructure. PIONIER-IX is embedded in an innovative scientific and research environment, utilizing modern hardware platforms from leading manufacturers and extensive regional infrastructure.

The exchange point is designed to provide open access to its infrastructure for other ISP operators, initially offering access via the 1GE interface, with the potential to scale up to Nx1GE or 10GE as needed. This initiative aims to support the scientific community by enhancing connectivity and fostering collaboration among research institutions and industry partners.
