LUBIX - Lubumbashi Internet eXchange

The Lubumbashi Internet Exchange Point (LUBIX) is a neutral, layer 2 internet exchange point (IXP) established under the RDC-IX project. Operational since October 25, 2019, LUBIX offers local and national peering, remote peering, and unicast services. This initiative aims to enhance internet traffic management within the Democratic Republic of Congo, ensuring that local traffic remains local and national traffic stays within the country, thereby improving speed, service quality, and reliability.
