KIXP - Kenya Internet Exchange Point

Kenya Internet Exchange Point (KIXP), managed by TESPOK, is a neutral, non-profit Internet Exchange Point (IXP) based in Nairobi, Kenya. Established in November 2000, KIXP was created to facilitate the local exchange of internet traffic among Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and other network operators in Kenya.

By enabling direct interconnection, KIXP significantly reduces latency and bandwidth costs, enhancing the overall internet experience for users. Today, KIXP boasts a diverse membership, including ISPs, government networks, educational institutions, and content providers, all benefiting from improved network efficiency and performance.
