CDMX.IXP.MX - IXP.MX - Mexico City

CDMX.IXP.MX is an Internet Exchange Point (IXP) managed by the Consorcio para el Intercambio de Tráfico de Internet A.C. (CITI). It serves as a network solution composed of switches and routers using Internet Protocol (IP) versions 4 and 6, operating at layers 2 and 3 of the ISO/OSI model. The IXP facilitates the interconnection of Autonomous Systems (AS) of participating entities, using the BGP-4 protocol to exchange network prefixes. This setup allows for efficient and economical resource use by enabling a single BGP session with route servers to obtain prefixes announced by all participants.
