HIX-NZ - Hamilton Internet Exchange

The Hamilton Internet Exchange (HIX) is an Ethernet-based neutral peering point located in Hamilton, New Zealand. It operates on switches provided by CityLink. By participating in the exchange, members agree to share routing information about their networks with other participants to optimize traffic flows across the HIX. To join, participants need to be connected to the exchange fabric, have a router capable of running BGP, and possess blocks of IPv4 and/or IPv6 numbers (at least a /24 of IPv4 and a /48 of IPv6).
