The Guyanix Exchange Point is an Internet Exchange Point (IXP) located in French Guiana. Managed by RENATER, it serves as a crucial hub for optimizing internet traffic in the region. Guyanix is hosted at the IRD in Cayenne and the premises of Guyane Numérique in Cayenne. This exchange point facilitates efficient and reliable internet connectivity by enabling local internet service providers (ISPs) and networks to interconnect directly, reducing latency and improving overall network performance.
