YEGIX - Edmonton Internet Exchange

The Edmonton Internet Exchange (YEGIX) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to enhancing internet connectivity within Alberta. By providing a platform for local ISPs, NSPs, CSPs, and other internet users to exchange traffic, YEGIX ensures high-bandwidth, low-latency access at a minimal cost.

YEGIX facilitates direct interconnection via an ethernet switch, allowing networks to exchange traffic efficiently and reliably. This setup reduces the need for international bandwidth, improving the speed and reliability of internet services for end-users.
