CGIX-PNR - Congo Internet eXchange Pointe-Noire

The Congo Internet eXchange Pointe-Noire (CGIX-PNR) is a significant Internet Exchange Point (IXP) located in Pointe-Noire, Congo. Launched in 2024, CGIX-PNR aims to enhance local internet infrastructure by facilitating the direct exchange of internet traffic between different networks. This IXP reduces latency, improves the quality of internet services, and promotes the creation of new digital services by encouraging local entrepreneurship and investment in the ICT sector. Managed by the Agence de Régulation des Postes et des Communications Électroniques (ARPCE), CGIX-PNR supports both IPv4 and IPv6, and offers 24/7 support to its members.
