APPlico Data Center

Applico Digital Lab's data center is a state-of-the-art facility located in Umbria, Italy. Spanning over 200 square meters, it is equipped with modern technology and interconnected via fiber optics. The center boasts a robust infrastructure with a diesel backup generator and a UPS room to ensure uninterrupted power supply.

The data center's internal network features a LAN based on core switches with 40G and 10G fiber optic backbones and rack accesses. It provides a range of cloud services including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, BaaS, and DRaaS, supported by blade computing infrastructure and a storage area network. The facility is also a VMware infrastructure and solutions provider and uses Veeam for backup and disaster recovery.

Security and connectivity are paramount at Applico Digital Lab's data center. The facility is protected by NGFW systems with IPS and Anti-DDoS, and the local network, data transport links, and internet connections are constantly monitored by an internal NOC/SOC. The data center also houses a Fastweb POP, ensuring redundant and protected fiber optic connections, and offers direct connections up to 10G for internet connectivity and L2/MPLS data transport.
