National Data Centre (NITA)

NITA operates carrier neutral Tier 2 & 3 Data Centers. The Tier III facility is in Accra, purpose-built facility designed to efficiently support the necessary infrastructure for a Data Center of this scale and potential capacity. This fully operational carrier neutral Tier III constructed facility Certified (work in progress by Uptime Institute) Data Center is currently the largest of its kind in West Africa and provides unrestricted interconnect between carriers and customers. This gives customers' options of carriers to select and lower cost environment for their information systems. It boasts some of the most advanced systems of any Data Center in Africa.
The Tier III Data Centre facility carrier neutrality allows customers to manage traffic to get better value, lower latency, and higher resilience, and creates an open market for partnerships between customers, networks, cloud and content providers, the Internet Exchange Point of Ghana and managed service providers.

NITA clients include all telecommunication carriers in Ghana, Internet Service Providers (ISPs), direct connection to all 5 undersea cables serving the South Atlantic Coast of Africa and every country on the Atlantic coast of Africa.
