YEXIO Bad Lippspringe

YEXIO Bad Lippspringe is a cutting-edge Edge data center located in Bad Lippspringe, Germany, developed by Yorizon Cloud and Hochtief. This facility is designed with sustainability at its core, featuring timber construction that reduces carbon emissions by approximately 600 metric tons compared to traditional methods. It incorporates direct-to-chip liquid cooling and a closed-loop cooling system, ensuring energy efficiency and optimal performance for high-density IT and AI applications.

The data center offers an initial IT capacity of 2MW, with plans to scale up to 4MW as demand grows. It is equipped to repurpose waste heat for local district heating networks, contributing to the region's climate-conscious municipal heating strategy. A feasibility study is underway to explore the integration of this waste heat into nearby residential and commercial areas.

Strategically located in central Germany, YEXIO Bad Lippspringe is part of a broader initiative to strengthen digital infrastructure in smaller cities. Its innovative design and focus on energy management make it a flagship project for sustainable urban development, supporting businesses, public institutions, and cloud service providers. Completion of the facility is scheduled for summer 2026.
