TKRZ Emsdetten (EMS1) is a state-of-the-art datacenter located in the heart of Germany. It offers high-performance connectivity integrated into the fiber-optic backbone, ensuring exceptional and customizable connectivity for its clients. The facility boasts a secure power supply designed for maximum reliability, with an uninterrupted power supply (UPS) and an emergency power system (EPS) ready to take over in case of local power failures.

The datacenter's cooling system is engineered for efficiency, utilizing redundant air conditioning units and cold water sets to minimize the use of mechanical chillers. This design achieves high energy efficiency and contributes to the datacenter's sustainable operation, as it is powered entirely by renewable energy sources.

In terms of security, TKRZ Emsdetten (EMS1) is fortified with perimeter protection, fire-resistant construction, lightning protection, early fire detection, and automatic gas-based fire suppression systems in IT and technical rooms.
