CyrusOne FRA6 - Frankfurt

CyrusOne's FRA6 data center represents a significant expansion of the company's footprint in Frankfurt, Germany. Following the acquisition of the Europark site in Sossenheim, this facility is set to deliver a total IT capacity of 72 MW across four floors, with each floor providing 18 MW.

Strategically positioned within Frankfurt's "Digital City", FRA6 benefits from its proximity to several operational CyrusOne data centers and is poised to meet the city's future data center requirements as outlined by officials. The site spans over 27,500 square meters and is currently in the planning stages, promising to bolster CyrusOne's ability to serve hyperscale customers in one of Europe's premier data center markets.

Sustainability and biodiversity are central to the design of FRA6, which aims for BREEAM "Excellent" certification and compliance with the planned Energy Efficiency Act. The data center will be constructed using sustainable materials and is designed to operate with a Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) of below 1.3. Additionally, it will feature a closed-loop water cooling system to minimize water usage and waste.
