YEXIO Heiligenhaus Data Center

The YEXIO Heiligenhaus data center is a pioneering project located in the Innovationspark Heiligenhaus, Germany. Developed by HOCHTIEF in partnership with Palladio Partners, this facility is designed to set new standards in sustainability and energy efficiency. Built on a 9,300 m² site, it features innovative technologies like direct water cooling for enhanced heat reuse and a wooden structure and façade to reduce and store CO₂ emissions. The center also boasts a green façade to promote biodiversity.

As part of a regional cluster of sustainable data centers, YEXIO Heiligenhaus integrates seamlessly into its local ecosystem, creating synergies with nearby businesses and communities. It serves as a model for edge computing, addressing local data processing needs while supporting environmentally conscious digital infrastructure. The facility is expected to be operational by mid-2025.
