DARZ

- The data centre building was used to process large amounts of cash money and to store The State Gold Reserve
- Due to this the building has many safety features that had been required to process incoming and outgoing cash amounts starting from hand packages to truck loads deliveries
- The building looks both impressive and formidable due to the fortress-like structural base protection (grenade proof windows, bomb shelters, anti-collision walls, etc.)
- The data centre is centrally located in Germany, and is only 30 km from Frankfurt.
Redundant fibre links DARZ to the main campus of the largest Internet Exchange Point (DE-CIX).

Out of 8,000 sqm. of gross floor area the data centre building features:
. 2,400 sqm. of leasable IT area
. approximately 2,900 sqm. of technical areas
. 1500 sqm. of corridors, entrance hall, terraces, etc.
. 700 sqm. of office areas
. 500 sqm. various land (conference, security rooms, etc.)

- data centre leasable area is divided in 11 separate modules (fire protection sections) with floor space from 100 sqm to 350 sqm.
- Total power output of the data centre is 2 x 4.5 MW that is already securing enough energy capacity for future development
- Extreme flexibility for installation of high power racks (25kW and more) due to the designated power reserves and localised cooling
- Safety Standard according TÜV Rheinland Cat. III + (i.e. 99,982% availability) and Class 3. DIN EN 50600
- The data centre is equipped using recent energy-saving technologies ("Green-IT").
