Located in the capital and largest city of Germany, Penta BER02 has 3 - 4 MW of available IT load, making it one of the largest data centers in Berlin. The site is well connected to the other data centers in Berlin and to the other Penta data centers in Germany and offers a wide range of fully certified data center services from co-location to build to suite. In addition, the location also is fitted out for disaster recovery space and with 3000 m2 of office space.

Positioned right on the west-east axis Amsterdam - Hannover - Berlin - Warsaw, Penta BER02 is at the junction of the central European business. Berlin is also well known for its innovative start-up scene. Due to this excellent position, Berlin is well connected to all main fibre routes.

The site has been designed as the main data center for the German railways, offering a very high level of security and availability and level of certification. The site offers connectivity over both redundant terrestrial fiber routes and railway fiber routes, and offers significant expansion options of up to 20 MW of IT load.

Penta BER02 is connected to the main international, national and regional routes and carriers, with possibilities to obtain dark fiber and managed services solutions through diverse paths from different carriers.

Penta BER02 Data Center is located in on the Berlin Campus (Berlin Mahlsdorf) where also BER01 is located. The data center Campus is just 5 minutes walking distance from the next train station and can also be reached conveniently by car. The new BER airport is only 18 km away.
