Overview
Icade is developing a cutting-edge data center in Rungis, located within the Parc d’affaires Paris Orly-Rungis. The project spans a total area of approximately 31,400 m², with 15,940 m² dedicated to construction. The site is organized into four functional zones: a five-story building for data center operations, a four-story office building, a five-story generator building, and a single-story electrical substation.
The design prioritizes sustainability, featuring permeable parking areas, a water infiltration basin, and landscape features to manage rainwater. The facility will recover waste heat from its operations and inject it into the urban heating network of Rungis. Additionally, it will generate renewable energy through 3,000 m² of photovoltaic panels on rooftops and parking structures. The project includes 9,800 m² of green spaces, with vegetated roofs and diverse landscaping to enhance biodiversity.
