Goodman is advancing its ambitious project to develop two mega data centers in Villeneuve-Saint-Georges, France. Located on a 14-hectare site previously occupied by Signify (formerly Philips Lighting), the development will feature two data centers, PAR II A and PAR II B, each spanning 30,000 square meters across two levels. These facilities will include 12 IT rooms, technical spaces, offices, and areas for delivery and storage, supported by 42 HVO backup generators to ensure uninterrupted operations.
The project emphasizes sustainability, with a circular deconstruction process achieving a remarkable 99.2% waste valorization rate. Goodman has repurposed the industrial brownfield site to avoid soil artificialization, aligning with its commitment to environmentally responsible development. Additionally, the data centers will incorporate a 2,250-square-meter electrical transformation station and access roads to enhance functionality.
Strategically located near Paris, the Villeneuve-Saint-Georges data centers will benefit from robust connectivity and infrastructure, making them ideal for supporting the digital economy. With completion expected in the coming years, this development represents a significant step forward in sustainable and innovative data center construction.
