France is one of the regions largest countries, both in terms of size and population, but also in terms of the amount of colocation data centers. Along with United Kingdom, Germany and The Netherlands, France is one of the four primary colocation markets. There are facilities spread out all over the country, but the capital city Paris is also the primary location of the nations data centers and internet traffic exchange as well. Paris is also a key location for European networks, with traffic exchanged at for example France-IX, POUIX and SFINX.
