Fortum Jyvaskyla

In the heart of Central Finland, a new data center campus is set to emerge in Jyväskylä, thanks to a collaboration between the city and Fortum. This ambitious project will span at least 20 hectares in the Seppälänkangas area, leveraging the region's strong points such as a skilled workforce, robust electricity grid, and an existing district heating network.

Fortum's strategy aligns with driving clean energy transitions and industrial decarbonization. The development of this data center campus is a step forward in this direction, building on Fortum's experience from similar projects in Espoo and Kirkkonummi.
