HR-ZOO ST

The HR-ZOO ST data center, part of the University of Split's campus in Visoka, is a modern facility designed to support the Croatian Scientific and Educational Cloud (HR-ZOO) project. Spanning a gross area of 379 m², it boasts a designed power capacity of 125 kW, supported by a diesel generator with an installed capacity of 220 kVA and an uninterruptible power supply system of 100 kVA. The cooling system has a capacity of 100 kW, ensuring optimal operating conditions for the ICT equipment.

This data center is equipped with state-of-the-art technical systems to guarantee high availability and security standards. These include ventilation and cooling systems, communication and server cabinets, security and environment monitoring systems, fire alarm and suppression systems, access control, video surveillance, and a comprehensive data center infrastructure management solution.

As one of the five data centers established under the HR-ZOO project, HR-ZOO ST plays a crucial role in providing top-quality computer and storage resources, scientific tools, and network connectivity. It represents a fundamental element of Croatia's national e-infrastructure, contributing significantly to the development of the country's educational system.
