CROC offers the Virtual Data Center, a set of virtual computing resources available via both the Internet and through dedicated links to its customers, which allows customers to manage resources via a self-service portal and fully control all IT services in the cloud without dependence on the service provider. CROC provides virtual servers, data storage systems with storage hierarchy, networks and network services, and Internet access with a configurable firewall as part of the IaaS service. In addition, any customer can use a unique demo cloud service. Via the demo service, companies can quickly learn how IT services will operate in the cloud. After this testing phase, many customers decide to 'go cloud'.
CROC offers cloud services based on its own outsourcing data centers:
Data Center Volochaevskaya 1: The computer room has floor space of 300 square meters (approximately 3,200 square feet) and can accommodate 90 racks with an average power per rack of 6 kW. The total power supplied to the Data Center is 1 MW.
Data Center Volochaevskaya 2: The computer room has floor space of 700 square meters (approximately 7,500 square feet) and can accommodate 110 racks with an average power per rack of 10 kW. The total power supplied to the Data Center is 2 MW.
Kompressor Data Center: Four computer rooms with floor space of 500 square meters (approximately 5,300 square feet) each. The Data Center can accommodate 800 racks with an average power per rack of 6 kW. The total power supplied to the data center is 8 MW. Compressor Data Center design has been certified by the Uptime Institute as complying with TIER III.
