Chayora's Shanghai Data Centre Campus represents a significant development in China's digital infrastructure. Located approximately 80km from the Shanghai Pudong CBD, the campus spans an area of about 8.5 acres (3.33 hectares). It is fully equipped and ready for construction with multi-phased options already underway. The design is modular, based on the Chayora Standard Design developed in Tianjin, and offers full customization for Built to Suit customers and larger colocation or wholesale requirements.
The campus boasts a robust power supply with 120MVA/60MVA of dual-feed gross power, which is sufficient to support an IT load of over 48MW on a 2N supply. This power is delivered through dual routed, independent connections from separate dedicated substations. Additionally, the campus provides full renewable energy options, ensuring a sustainable and reliable energy source for its operations.
In terms of connectivity and services, the Shanghai Data Centre Campus is carrier-neutral, offering a wide range of telecom services from tier-one carriers as well as other tier-two carriers. This includes China Telecom, China Mobile, China Unicom, and CITIC, among others. The campus is designed to support scalable growth, matching the expansion needs of its customers with ultra-high speed connections to the Shanghai CBD, assuring low-latency connectivity for content delivery, cloud access, and communication services across the region. The facility is also fully licensed for IDC, ISP, and IRCS operations, managed to international standards in engineering, facilities, security, construction, and overall performance.
