ADIE, originally known as the Agency for Information of the State, was an autonomous entity in Senegal, tasked with enhancing the country's digital infrastructure and services. As a part of the Ministry of Investment Promotion, ADIE played a pivotal role in advancing Senegal's legislative, economic, and cultural sectors through open data platforms.
In a significant transformation, ADIE evolved into Sénégal Numérique S.A., a national company established by law on December 13, 2021. This transition marked a new era for the organization, now fully owned by the State of Senegal, with a focus on tackling the greatest challenges in strategy, consulting, digital technologies, and operations management.
Sénégal Numérique S.A. continues to uphold the legacy of its predecessor, ADIE, by driving forward the digital strategy and operational excellence that are crucial for the nation's progress in the information age.
