RENATER (Réseau national de télécommunications pour la technologie, l'enseignement et la recherche) is the national research and education network in France. Established in 1993, RENATER provides a highly reliable and secure network that facilitates collaboration and convergence of scientific and academic projects. It connects over 1,000 education and research sites across Metropolitan France and Overseas Departments and Territories, offering national and international connectivity via the pan-European GÉANT network.
RENATER's services include network connectivity (IPv4 and IPv6), end-to-end circuits, resource management, authentication services, mobility services, voice and image services, and security services. The network supports the digital transformation of the research and education community by constantly innovating in technologies that stimulate progress and performance.
